Responsibilities For Engineering Manager, Cloud Databases, Generative AI
- Lead the grow and its capacity and ensure its long-term success
- Manage the local team, overseeing individual development, driving project execution and establishing a healthy team culture of excellence and inclusivity
- Ensure that the teams have well-defined missions and sufficient autonomy to achieve operational excellence while collaborating effectively with US-based peers and other Databases teams across regions
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners, customers, and the wider developer community
Requirements For Engineering Manager, Cloud Databases, Generative AI
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience in designing and developing large-scale distributed systems
- 5 years of experience managing teams
- Experience in cloud computing
- Experience in Database Internals (preferred)
- Experience in Generative AI (preferred)
- Experience and intuitive understanding of the application development process (preferred)
- Excellent sense of curiosity and ability to learn quickly and adapt to rapidly evolving project requirements and timelines and technologies (preferred)
