Manufacturing Test Engineer

Google is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join their Manufacturing Operations team, which is responsible for delivering state-of-the-art physical infrastructure. This role combines software engineering with hardware testing expertise, focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of Google's custom-designed equipment.

The position involves working with one of the largest computing infrastructures globally, where you'll be responsible for creating and optimizing test processes, tools, and procedures. You'll collaborate closely with contract manufacturers, NPI teams, and engineering teams to maintain high manufacturing standards and drive improvements in test coverage and efficiency.

As a Manufacturing Test Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in Google's Technical Infrastructure team, working at the intersection of software and hardware. You'll be involved in everything from design for test (DFT) requirements to yield improvement and optimization. The role requires both technical depth in testing methodologies and software skills in Linux and Python.
