Job Description

Google Cloud is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join their Global Manufacturing Engineering team. This role combines hardware engineering and software development to ensure the quality and efficiency of Google's data center infrastructure products. The position involves developing and maintaining test solutions for manufacturing operations, working closely with global partners and cross-functional teams.

As a Manufacturing Test Engineer, you'll be responsible for creating and implementing test processes, tools, and procedures for products deployed in Google Data Centers. You'll work alongside vendors during product builds, ensuring manufacturing test processes are repeatable and controlled. The role requires collaboration with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams, Design Engineers, and Quality Engineers to drive continuous improvements.

The position sits within Google's Technical Infrastructure team, which is fundamental to keeping Google's vast array of services running smoothly. The team takes pride in their hands-on approach to engineering and maintains Google's networks to ensure optimal user experience.   • Develop and deploy robust test solutions for products in collaboration with Google's global manufacturing partners

Requirements For Manufacturing Test Engineer, Global Manufacturing Engineering, Google Cloud

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in Hardware Engineering or Test Engineering in manufacturing
  • Experience in developing and integrating manufacturing test hardware using custom electronics, fixturing, and instrumentation
  • Experience in driving improvement of test systems and processes to enhance efficiency and manufacturability
