Job Description

Google Cloud Platform is seeking a Partner Engineer (German) to join their team in helping customers transform and evolve their businesses through cloud technology. This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and partner enablement, requiring both deep cloud knowledge and strong relationship-building skills.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud native architectures and a proven track record of working directly with customers and partners in technical roles. They will be responsible for enabling Google Cloud partners to successfully implement solutions, from proof of concept through to production deployment. This includes providing technical guidance, best practices, and helping partners leverage Google Cloud's full suite of tools and capabilities.

As a Partner Engineer, you'll work closely with Partner Development Managers to grow Google Cloud's partner ecosystem in German-speaking markets. Your technical expertise will be crucial in helping partners demonstrate the value of Google Cloud services to customers, supporting innovation and business growth. You'll lead technical enablement efforts across various technologies and solutions, ensuring partners can successfully execute complex cloud migrations and implementations.

The role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technology while having a direct impact on Google Cloud's growth in the German market. You'll be part of a dynamic team that's shaping how businesses leverage cloud technology, with the backing of Google's resources and innovation. Responsibilities For Partner Engineer (German)

  • Enable partners in prototyping and demonstrating product integrations
  • Guide customers through assessments of their existing legacy application environment(s)
  • Recommend and review integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure
  • Work with Partner Managers to identify and recruit partners in the market
  • Build technical assets, collaborate with partners to develop Google Cloud-specific solution documentation
  • Scale customer wins through partners by promoting the partner with account teams

Requirements For Partner Engineer (German)

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders
  • Experience designing and building architectures and migrating workloads to cloud environments
  • Ability to communicate fluently in German as this role requires client/partner facing activity
