Partner Engineer, Google Cloud

Google Cloud is seeking a Partner Engineer to play a crucial role in expanding and supporting their cloud partner ecosystem. This position sits at the intersection of technical expertise and partner enablement, requiring a seasoned professional with deep cloud architecture experience.

The role involves working closely with partner development managers to grow Google Cloud's partner network, understanding partners' technical capabilities, and recommending appropriate solutions to customers. You'll be instrumental in guiding partners through technology adoption and enablement, ensuring they can effectively leverage Google Cloud services to accelerate their customers' time to market and create new growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities include enabling SI partners and ISVs through technical demonstrations, prototyping, and integration support. You'll assess existing legacy environments, develop technical assets, and create partner development plans aligned with annual objectives. The role requires expertise in cloud migration strategies, database technologies, and enterprise architecture.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of cloud architecture experience, particularly in working with system integrators. Strong knowledge of data migration, database technologies (including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL), and application modernization is essential. Experience with AI/ML workloads and excellent communication skills are highly valued.
