Job Description

Google Cloud is seeking a Platform Software Engineer to join their ARM Servers team. This role combines system software development with server infrastructure, focusing on building and maintaining critical server systems. You'll work on designing and implementing system software and automation tools for server diagnostics and performance evaluation. The position requires expertise in embedded systems, programming languages like C/C++, and a strong foundation in computer science.

Responsibilities For Platform Software Engineer, ARM Servers, Google Cloud

  • Design and implement the system software for servers to support various workloads and needs
  • Design and implement tools for automating diagnostics, performance evaluation, and reliability assurance for servers
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to plan and execute the engineering programs, including product development and productivity improvements
