Responsibilities For Product Manager, Code Search

  • Responsible for the product strategy, and the various integration possibilities in the other Coding Tools, most notably Cider and Critique
  • Transform code search and understand developer journeys using Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Engage with users and customers to understand their needs, pain points, and identify potential solutions
  • Follow industry trends to make sure that Google engineers have the most competitive experience in the domain
  • Define what success looks like, gather user feedback and the necessary metrics to demonstrate that the team is converging towards it
  • Identify and pitch investment opportunities to drive additional impact

Requirements For Product Manager, Code Search

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in product management
  • 2 years of experience building and shipping technical products
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, or in a related technical field (preferred)
  • 5 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of product delivery (preferred)
  • Excellent software engineering (coding, systems design etc) skills (preferred)
  • English proficiency
