Description For Program Manager II, Data Center Operations, Technical Infrastructure

Google is seeking a Program Manager II for Data Center Operations in their Technical Infrastructure team. This role is part of the Spares Readiness team, responsible for improvement and sustainment programs ensuring data centers have spare parts available when needed. The position involves managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and working across offices and time zones.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying gaps and improving spares data and analysis processes
  • Analyzing and resolving gaps in general processes and business assumptions
  • Developing and improving metrics for spares life-cycle and production phases
  • Providing data analysis in collaboration with team members and partners
  • Working with various teams to identify gaps, make improvements, and lead change

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain operations, or data center operations

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
  • Experience with data management or analytics in a data center or supply chain environment
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets and dashboards
  • Experience in technical environments
  • Knowledge of Agile, Ariba, SAP, and Maximo ERP systems
