Google's gTech Users and Products (gUP) team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their Machine Learning Data Services team. This role combines technical expertise in data engineering with ML/AI capabilities to support various AI initiatives across Google. The position involves working with large-scale datasets, building data pipelines, and implementing solutions for complex Generative AI models.

The role offers a competitive base salary range of $150,000-$220,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Based in either Boulder, CO or Atlanta, GA, you'll be part of a team that advocates for Google's users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines, conducting advanced statistical analysis, and providing technical consultation to partners. The role requires strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript, along with extensive experience in SQL and data modeling.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in data engineering and analysis, with a background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with Machine Learning and Generative AI is highly valued, as is the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
