You'll process and analyze massive datasets to shape Google's business and technical strategies, from advertising effectiveness to infrastructure optimization. Working closely with Engineers, Product Managers, and various teams, you'll not only identify problems but also develop solutions. The role requires strong analytical skills, statistical expertise, and the ability to communicate technical concepts across different organizational levels. Responsibilities For Senior Data Scientist, Search (Real World Journeys)
- Collaborate with stakeholders in cross-projects and team settings to identify and clarify business or product questions
- Use custom data infrastructure or existing data models, design and evaluate mathematical models
- Gather information, business goals, priorities, and organizational context
- Own the process of gathering, extracting, and compiling data across sources via relevant tools
Requirements For Senior Data Scientist, Search (Real World Journeys)
- Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or related quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding, querying databases or statistical analysis, or 3 years with PhD
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
