Job Description

Google Cloud is seeking a Senior DFT (Design for Testing) Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru. This role is part of a diverse team that develops custom silicon solutions powering Google's direct-to-consumer products. The position focuses on defining, implementing, and deploying advanced Design for Testing methodologies for digital and mixed-signal chips/IPs.

As a Senior DFT Engineer, you'll be responsible for creating silicon test strategies, DFT architecture, and specifications for next-generation SoCs. The role involves designing, inserting, and verifying DFT logic, while also preparing for post-silicon testing and collaborating with test engineers. A key focus is on reducing test costs, increasing production quality, and enhancing yield.

The position sits within Google's Technical Infrastructure team, which builds and maintains the architecture behind Google's vast product portfolio. This team is crucial in keeping Google's networks running optimally and ensuring users have the best possible experience.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in DFT specification, architecture, and insertion, along with expertise in EDA test tools and ASIC DFT synthesis. Knowledge of silicon bring-up, debug activities, and fault modeling would be advantageous. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge hardware solutions that impact millions of users worldwide while being part of Google's innovative technical infrastructure team.
