Google's Raxium display group is seeking a Senior Microdisplay Architect to lead the development of revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology. This role combines hardware architecture and software development expertise, focusing on creating efficient microdisplay panels for AR/VR applications. The position requires deep technical knowledge in CMOS design, microLED technology, and display systems.

The role involves establishing full custom COT design architecture for highly efficient microdisplay panels and AR/VR systems. You'll work on logic design, microarchitecture, modulation techniques, circuit designs, and System-on-a-Chip alternatives. The architecture must support various product families while maintaining power and area efficiency for different information glasses applications.

As part of Google's innovative Raxium team, you'll work in a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley. The position offers competitive compensation ($227,000-$320,000 base salary) plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Requirements For Senior Microdisplay Architect, Raxium

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 15 years of experience in micro-display architecture (or 12 years with advanced degree)
  • Experience in CMOS COT implementation and modulation software methodologies
  • Experience with microLED-based microdisplays
  • Expertise in full custom CMOS COT design tools and methodologies
  • Understanding of microLED display technology
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
