YouTube is seeking a Senior Partner Engineer to join their Device Platform Operations team, focusing on leading deployments, optimizing implementations, and managing integrations to build device partnerships. This role combines technical expertise with partnership management, requiring 6 years of experience in software development and cloud solutions.

The position involves working with cutting-edge video streaming technologies and embedded systems, particularly in the Android TV ecosystem. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Business Development, Operations, and Marketing to drive technical solutions and improve partner operations.

As a Senior Partner Engineer, you'll be responsible for bridging the gap between technical implementation and business needs, developing innovative solutions for partners, and ensuring the successful deployment of YouTube technologies across various platforms. The role requires strong technical skills in languages like C/C++, Java, TypeScript, or Python, combined with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with consumer electronics manufacturers, SoC providers, and Pay TV operators, along with a deep understanding of TV platform architecture.   • Lead implementation reviews, advocate new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical issues
  • Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams
  • Undertake the technical aspects of a partner's integration by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance
  • Identify, drive, and optimize the business flow from existing and new business opportunities
  • Work closely with in-region vendors to support device lab operations and YouTube quality control on Google TV
