Senior Platform System Architect, Silicon

Google is seeking a Senior Platform System Architect to join their Silicon team, focusing on developing custom silicon solutions that power Google's direct-to-consumer products. This role combines hardware architecture expertise with software integration to create next-generation computing experiences. The position involves working with Google's AI, Software, and Hardware teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance user experiences on Pixel devices.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping SoC architecture decisions, particularly focusing on Power Performance Area (PPA) optimization. They will work closely with various teams including Software/Hardware architects, design teams, and research teams to enable superior user experiences on Pixel phone devices, leveraging advanced Generative AI technologies from Google Deepmind research.

This role requires a strong background in computer architecture, with expertise in microarchitecture, cache hierarchy, pipelining, and memory subsystems. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate ability to drive system architecture decisions across Software/Hardware teams and translate complex ideas into architecture specifications.
