Senior Product Engineer, ML Accelerators

Google's Machine Learning Supply Chain and Operations (MLSCO) team is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join their ML Accelerators division. This role combines hardware engineering expertise with machine learning infrastructure, focusing on the deployment of ML capacity in Google's Fleet. The position involves leading technology assessments for new products, collaborating with Quality and Reliability Engineers, and managing cross-functional teams for component resolution.

The role is part of Google's Technical Infrastructure team, which is fundamental in developing and maintaining data centers and building next-generation Google platforms. The successful candidate will work on custom silicon solutions that power Google's direct-to-consumer products, contributing to innovations that impact millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities include leading product technology assessments, establishing production goals, managing quality excursions, and providing support for pre-production builds. The ideal candidate should have extensive manufacturing experience, particularly in PCBA and system assembly, with knowledge of SQL and Python programming.
