Senior Software Engineer, Android, Wear OS

Google is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Wear/WatchSW team, which powers millions of smartwatch devices from partners including Pixel, Samsung, Oppo, Xiaomi, and Mobvoi. The position is focused on developing core UI experiences for Wear OS, including notifications, app grid, tutorial, charging screen, settings, tiles, and quick settings.

The role is part of the Wear SysUI Big Picture team, which aims to enhance the quality of core user experiences through long-term architectural improvements and developer efficiency. The team combines Google's expertise in AI, software, and hardware to create innovative user experiences.

The position offers competitive compensation with a base salary range of $166,000-$244,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. The role requires strong technical skills, including 5 years of software development experience and expertise in system programming languages. Experience with Android development, particularly framework and full-stack application development, is highly valued.
