Job Description

Google is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Wear OS team, focusing on Android development for wearable devices. The Wear OS platform powers millions of smartwatch devices from partners including Pixel, Samsung, Oppo, Xiaomi, and Mobvoi.

Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer, Android, Wear OS

  • Contribute to the development of new features
  • Develop code for significant components within the Wear OS SysUI team
  • Enhance the notifications stack components to better integrate with Android Open Source Project (AOSP)
  • Build accompanying tools, tests, utilities and telemetry
