Job Description

Google Cloud is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Full Stack development team in Warsaw, Poland. As part of Google's engineering team, you'll work on next-generation technologies that impact billions of users worldwide. The role involves developing solutions across the full technology stack, from backend services to frontend interfaces.

You'll be working on critical projects for Google Cloud, which helps organizations accelerate their digital transformation by leveraging Google's cutting-edge technology. The position requires expertise in both backend technologies (Java, Python, Go, C++) and frontend development (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS).

As a senior engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll participate in technical leadership activities, including design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring other developers. Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack, Google Cloud

  • Write and test product or system development code
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
  • 3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture
