Google is seeking a Silicon Development Engineer to join their ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization. This role is specifically designed for PhD graduates completing their studies in 2025 or 2026. As a Silicon Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of Google's AI initiatives, working on custom silicon solutions that power their direct-to-consumer products. The position involves working across various stages of the silicon lifecycle, from architecture and design to verification, validation, and deployment.

The role requires expertise in silicon engineering, with a focus on optimizing performance, power, and area for critical infrastructure like TPUs and ML accelerators. You'll be making independent technical contributions, managing your priorities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate research into practical solutions.
