This role is specifically designed for PhD graduates completing their studies in 2025 or 2026. As a Silicon Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of Google's AI initiatives, working on custom silicon solutions that power their direct-to-consumer products. The position involves working across various stages of the silicon lifecycle, from architecture and design to verification, validation, and deployment.

The role requires expertise in silicon engineering, with a focus on optimizing performance, power, and area for critical infrastructure like TPUs and ML accelerators. You'll be making independent technical contributions, managing your priorities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate research into practical solutions. Working in the MSCA organization, you'll be part of the team responsible for the hardware, software, machine learning, and systems infrastructure that powers all Google services and Google Cloud.
