Responsibilities For Silicon Frontend CAD Engineer

  • Develop methodology for various front-end (design, DV, low power) tasks
  • Work with front-end teams to understand requirements and enable scalable solutions
  • Work across functional domains to enable development and deployment of CAD solutions
  • Drive Electronic Design Automation (EDA) vendors to improve their tools to deliver custom solutions for Google
  • Partner with EDA and verification teams to enable newer industry solutions

Requirements For Silicon Frontend CAD Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience with CAD
  • Experience with production Scripts such as Python and TCL
  • Knowledge of RTL connectivity, feedthroughs, re-partitioning, UPF, LEC (preferred)
  • Knowledge of ML-based acceleration (preferred)
  • Familiarity with constraint generation (preferred)
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
