Job Description

Google Cloud is seeking a SoC Test Engineer to join their Technical Infrastructure team. This role is crucial in developing and implementing test strategies for high-performance computing products. As part of the team that powers Google's direct-to-consumer products, you'll work on custom silicon solutions that drive innovation and performance.

The position involves collaborating with Architecture, Design, and Verification teams to create comprehensive test solutions for advanced process technologies. You'll be responsible for pre-silicon validation, test program development, and ensuring successful transition from New Product Integration (NPI) to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).

The Technical Infrastructure team is fundamental to keeping Google's vast network of services running smoothly. They're proud to be the engineers' engineers, focusing on building and maintaining the architecture that makes Google's product portfolio possible. This role combines hardware expertise with software development, requiring skills in both test automation and hardware validation.

Key responsibilities include developing test strategies, verifying solutions on pre-silicon models, and supporting product sustainability through data analysis and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ASIC test methodologies and programming skills in languages like Python or Java.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about hardware testing and validation, offering the chance to work on cutting-edge technology that impacts millions of users worldwide. The role provides exposure to advanced computing systems and the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art test equipment and methodologies.
