Software Engineer III, Android System Navigation

Google is seeking a Software Engineer III to join their Android System UI team, focusing on improving the Android system navigation experience. This role is critical in developing and maintaining core Android UI elements including gesture navigation, navigation bar on phones, and taskbar on large screen devices. The role involves working with a talented team of Engineers, UXers and Product Managers to create beautiful and functional UI for Pixel and all Android devices. The System UI team handles all core Android UI elements that aren't in applications, such as notifications, lock screen, home screen, navigation, and multitasking.

The position offers competitive compensation including a base salary range of $141,000-$202,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
