Job Description

Google is seeking a Software Engineer III to join their Engineering Infrastructure and Operations (EIO) team, focusing on engineering productivity aspects of Aluminium and ChromeOS. This role is part of the Platforms and Devices team, which develops computing software platforms across desktop, mobile, and applications environments.

As a Software Engineer III, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining the build, test, and release infrastructure for Aluminium and ChromeOS. The role combines technical expertise in developer tools and infrastructure with a focus on engineering productivity. Requirements For Software Engineer III, Engineering Infrastructure and Operations

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree
  • 2 years of experience building developer tools (e.g., compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, test automation frameworks)
