Job Description

Google Cloud is seeking a Software Engineer III to join their Infrastructure team focusing on Platform Attestation. This role is crucial for developing next-generation technologies that impact billions of users' connectivity and interactions. The position involves building core platforms and global services for protecting, distributing, and managing certificates, keys, and other assets throughout Google's cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, boot stacks, RoTs, cryptographic protocols, operating systems, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). You'll be working on technology that secures both Google Cloud and Google's Production environment, protecting customer data through confidentiality, integrity, and availability properties anchored in trustworthy hardware.

As part of Google Cloud, you'll be contributing to enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google's cutting-edge technology. The role offers opportunities to work with innovative technologies like Google's Titan chip and implement boot time and runtime attestations. You'll be part of a team that ensures the security of both Google's infrastructure and customer workloads.

The position requires expertise in infrastructure or distributed systems, proficiency in languages like C, C++, or Rust, and experience with Cloud Security services. Preferred candidates will have advanced degrees in Computer Science or related fields, experience with Linux Kernel, Operating Systems, Embedded Systems, and knowledge of Hardware Security concepts.
