  • Design, develop, and deploy new malware detection technologies that operate on a global scale
  • Optimize Google's services for speed and efficiency, integrating new scanning engines, and evolving C++ platform
  • Collaborate with engineering teams from Google Deep Mind, Safe Browsing, Gmail, Drive, and Cloud
  • Research emerging threats, prototype new defenses, and contribute to innovation
  • Partner with Site Reliability Engineers to ensure system stability and performance

Requirements For Software engineer III, Malware Protection, Core

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience with software development in C++ programming language, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting
  • 2 years of experience with data structures/algorithms (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience with scalability and distributed systems (preferred)
