Job Description

Google Cloud is seeking a Software Engineer to join their VirusTotal team within Google Threat Intelligence (GTI). This role combines software engineering expertise with cybersecurity and AI, focusing on making the internet safer through threat intelligence. The position involves developing next-generation technologies for threat detection and analysis, working with cutting-edge AI and machine learning systems, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs).

The role is based in Málaga, Spain, and requires strong technical skills in software development, AI/ML, and security. You'll be working on critical projects that help security researchers, analysts, and organizations worldwide detect and analyze malware, phishing, and other cyber threats. The position offers opportunities to work with various technologies, from distributed computing and large-scale system design to machine learning and malware analysis.

As part of Google Cloud, you'll be contributing to a platform that serves customers in over 200 countries. The role requires a blend of technical expertise in software development, AI systems (particularly LLMs), and security technologies.
