Responsibilities For Software Test Engineer, Pixel Wearables

  • Develop and utilize automation tools, scripts and dashboards to facilitate testing, provide insightful reporting and improve engineering health
  • Define the test framework, preconditions and control functions to empower other testers
  • Improve or create new test infrastructure to increase efficiency in test case development, scheduling and deployment
  • Participate in product design review with product managers, software/hardware engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Build and maintain scalable, reliable automated tests and frameworks for consumer devices

Requirements For Software Test Engineer, Pixel Wearables

Python
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience in coding, developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging
  • Experience with Python software development or test automation with Python
  • Experience testing software for consumer electronics, such as hearables, wearables, audio products, or Bluetooth-enabled devices
