Google Ads is seeking a Staff UX Researcher to join their team focused on powering the open internet with advertising technology. This role combines user experience research with strategic impact, requiring 8+ years of experience in applied research settings. The position offers a competitive base salary range of $168,000-$252,000 plus additional compensation including bonus and equity.

As a UX Researcher at Google, you'll be part of a multi-disciplinary team working on products that connect people, publishers, and advertisers. The role involves conducting primary research through various methodologies including field studies, interviews, usability testing, and more. You'll work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to create industry-leading products that deliver value for users and Google's businesses.

The position requires strong research design skills and the ability to work with executive leadership. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to Google's advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel, and video advertising.   • Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and in-person presentations
  • Lead community and practice development for the Qualitative UXR Discipline within Search Ads

Requirements For Staff UX Researcher, SAGE, Google Ads

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in an applied research setting, or similar
  • Experience with research design utilizing various methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, etc.)
