Job Description

Google is seeking a System Power Architect to join their Silicon team, focusing on developing custom silicon solutions for Google's direct-to-consumer products. This senior-level position combines hardware architecture with power optimization expertise, working on next-generation Tensor mobile SoCs. The role involves leading power architecture requirements, optimizing Power-Performance-Area under constraints, and working with cross-functional teams.

The position requires deep expertise in power management architectures, particularly for mobile SoCs, with knowledge of peak power management, PDN droop detection, adaptive clock distribution, and thermal management. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering industry-leading power efficiency for cutting-edge SoCs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to shape the future of Google's hardware experiences, working with state-of-the-art technology and contributing to products used by millions worldwide. The role offers competitive compensation, including a strong base salary range of $227,000-$320,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in power management or low power design, with a strong educational background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. They should possess exceptional leadership and communication skills, along with a proven track record of delivering complex hardware solutions.

Working at Google's facilities in either Mountain View or San Diego, you'll be part of a team that combines the best of Google AI, Software, and Hardware to create radically helpful experiences. This role represents a unique opportunity to impact the next generation of Google's hardware products while working with cutting-edge technology and world-class teams.
