Job Description

Google's Corporate Engineering team is seeking a Technical Lead to spearhead their ServiceNow ITSM transformation initiative. This role sits at the intersection of technical leadership and enterprise IT service management, requiring deep expertise in the ServiceNow ecosystem. The position involves leading a team of product engineers and collaborating with ServiceNow consultants to deliver platform solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of ServiceNow experience, with particular emphasis on ITSM Professional suite implementation, custom application development, and integration work. They will be responsible for driving technical design decisions, implementing best practices, and ensuring platform scalability while avoiding excessive customization.

This role offers the opportunity to work at Google's IT organization, which builds world-leading business solutions that scale across the entire company. As part of Corp Eng, you'll be instrumental in providing end-to-end solutions for organizations across Google, essentially being "Google for Googlers."

Key responsibilities include owning the technical design and governance of the ServiceNow CMDB, implementing the CSDM framework, and designing secure API-led integrations between ServiceNow and internal systems. The role also involves mentoring team members and conducting knowledge transfers to build organizational expertise.

The position requires a strong technical background with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, along with relevant certifications. Experience with ServiceNow's AI features, ITOM, and Service Portal development would be particularly valuable.
