Job Description

Google is seeking a Technical Lead Software Engineer for their Chrome Enterprise Premium team, focusing on building services that protect data and users as work increasingly moves to the browser. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, working across the full stack to contribute to Chromium and build cloud infrastructure on Google Workspace. The position involves developing security solutions that position Chrome as a cornerstone of enterprise Zero Trust architectures, collaborating with Safe Browsing, Google Workspace, and Cloud Security teams.

The role requires expertise in C++ development and leadership experience, with opportunities to work on critical security and enterprise features. You'll be part of Chrome's mission to build a better, more open web, working on both desktop and mobile platforms. The team's work directly impacts billions of users through Chrome's extensive reach across all major platforms - iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome OS.

As a technical lead, you'll balance hands-on coding with providing technical guidance to your team, working closely with product managers and UX designers to deliver enterprise-focused features. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to both open-source (Chromium) and internal Google codebases, developing solutions that bridge cloud offerings with Chrome's security capabilities.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical skills with leadership abilities, has a passion for security and enterprise solutions, and wants to impact how organizations use Chrome for secure, productive work. The position offers the chance to work on cutting-edge technology while helping shape the future of browser-based enterprise computing.
