Description For Technical Program Manager I, Data Center Compliance

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager I for Data Center Compliance. This role involves developing a culture where security, risk, and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. The ideal candidate will identify, evaluate, and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders with critical decision-making information. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop industry-leading programs that drive sustainable effectiveness is key.

Responsibilities include partnering with Data Center teams to ensure program alignment with audit/compliance expectations, coordinating and executing on-site audits, leading the development of the Data Center compliance program, enhancing practices and processes to support compliance and auditability, and creating program documentation and trainings.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 1 year of program management experience, and experience with Audit Compliance and Risk management compliance. Preferred qualifications include experience in scaled program management, change management, communication strategy, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fluid environment.

Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager I, Data Center Compliance

  • Partner with Data Center teams to ensure that the programs are aligned to audit/compliance expectations and help prepare them for future audits
  • Coordinate, manage, and execute on site audits from various sources (customer, insurance, etc,) with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead and collaborate with the team and partners to help shape and drive the development of the Data Center compliance program
  • Help enhance, transform, create or deprecate practices and processes, with the key objective of supporting the compliance and auditability across the organization
  • Create and maintain program documentation and trainings
