Job Description

Google Cloud is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to join their High Touch Support team in Warsaw, Poland. This role sits at the intersection of technical problem-solving and customer support, helping organizations successfully implement and optimize their Google Cloud solutions.

The position requires a strong technical foundation with at least 2 years of experience in areas like web technologies, data/big data, systems administration, machine learning, networking, and containerization (Kubernetes). You'll be working directly with customers to troubleshoot complex technical issues, debug workload problems across multi-node environments, and provide expert consultation on cloud infrastructure.

As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you'll develop deep knowledge of Google Cloud's product technology and architectures, using this expertise to resolve customer issues and improve product functionality. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering and business stakeholders, to overcome technical deployment challenges and enhance the Google Cloud platform.

Key responsibilities include conducting technical troubleshooting, reproducing and analyzing customer-reported issues, building diagnostic tools, and working on production deployments. You'll serve as a technical advocate for customers, bringing their needs and feedback to internal teams to drive product improvements.

Responsibilities For Technical Solutions Engineer, High Touch Support

  • Develop understanding of Google Cloud's product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting customer reported issues
  • Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders
  • Work in a team of engineers to ensure customer support, including non-standard work hours/shifts
  • Understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with internal teams
  • Work with customers on production deployments to resolve issues and achieve product readiness

Requirements For Technical Solutions Engineer, High Touch Support

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience with two or more of: Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, SAP
  • 2 years of experience with coding or with system design, troubleshooting and managing technical issues
  • Experience in Computer Networking (TCP/IP, Routing, Load balancing, etc.)
  • Experience with debugging workload issues across multi-node environments
  • Experience with exploratory kernel debugging and performance analysis of containerized systems
  • Experience in working with cloud services and infrastructure
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, HTML, DNS, TCP, etc.)
