Granicus, a leading GovTech company serving over 5,500 government agencies, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer specializing in Elasticsearch Observability. This role combines technical expertise in ELK stack, containerization, and cloud infrastructure with leadership responsibilities. The position offers an opportunity to work with a globally distributed team across the US, Canada, UK, India, Armenia, Australia, and New Zealand.
The role involves implementing and managing ELK stack solutions, designing centralized logging systems, and overseeing self-hosted clusters. You'll be responsible for CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure automation, and container orchestration using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Security and compliance are key aspects, including artifact management and secrets management.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of Elasticsearch experience, strong DevOps capabilities, and a proven track record in mentoring. Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer 3
- Implement & Manage ELK stack solutions and centralized logging solutions
- Configure Observability metrics and parameters
- Manage Elasticsearch indices and self-hosted clusters
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Develop scalable cloud infrastructure solutions
- Create and maintain Docker images
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters
- Manage artifact repositories
- Define and enforce security policies
- Mentor junior engineers
- Maintain system documentation
Requirements For DevOps Engineer 3
- 5+ years of extensive experience with Elasticsearch and ELK stack implementations & Observability
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools, infrastructure as code, Cloud Services
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Demonstrated ability to enforce security compliance
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience in mentoring team members
