GSK's Onyx Research Data Tech organization is seeking a GenAI Platform Engineer II to join their innovative team. This role is part of GSK's mission to leverage advanced AI and GenAI applications for developing transformational medicines using genetics, functional genomics, and machine learning. The position sits within the GenAI Engineering team, focused on developing first-in-class GenAI capabilities at scale, including complex agent architectures, LLM training, and optimized deployments.

The ideal candidate will contribute to building next-generation, metadata- and automation-driven data experiences for GSK's scientists, engineers, and decision-makers. You'll work on providing best-in-class AI/ML, GenAI, and data analysis environments to accelerate predictive capabilities. The role involves hands-on development with Python, cloud technologies, and modern ML frameworks, while working in an agile environment.

Responsibilities For GenAI Platform Engineer II

  • Serve as a key engineer for the GenAI platform

Requirements For GenAI Platform Engineer II

Python
Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
  • Significant experience in software engineering
  • Deep knowledge of Python programming
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
  • Experience with LLM training and deployments
  • Experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CNCF ecosystem
  • Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices
