Staff Engineer

As a Staff Engineer in the Product Engineering Team, you'll play a crucial role in implementing and operating Agents and Inference platforms that serve both the Research department and form the foundation for market-ready agentic products and services.

The position demands a seasoned professional with at least 5 years of strong Python backend development experience, who can lead technical architecture, design, and long-term engineering roadmap. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining complex, high-performance, and scalable systems while mentoring engineers across multiple teams.

The role requires expertise in distributed systems, cloud computing (preferably AWS), API development (REST/GraphQL), and both relational and non-relational databases. Experience with message queuing technologies and a solid understanding of coding standards, architectural patterns, and test frameworks is essential. Your technical leadership will be crucial in guiding teams through complex decisions while balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term architectural health.
