Job Description

H.B. Fuller, the world's largest pureplay adhesives company with $3.6 billion in revenue (2024), is seeking an Intelligent Automation Developer to join their growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge automation technologies while contributing to a company that has been innovating for over 130 years. The position combines technical development (50%), systems analysis (25%), and documentation/communication (25%), making it ideal for someone starting their career in software development.

The role involves developing automated solutions, conducting various types of testing, and working with business stakeholders to identify and implement technical requirements. You'll be working with modern technologies including Power Platform, LogicApps, Dataverse, and SQL, with opportunities to work with Python and large data transformations.

As part of a global team of 7,500+ employees serving over 30 market segments in 140+ countries, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact on systems that enhance product quality, safety, and performance worldwide. The hybrid work environment offers flexibility between home office and on-site work across multiple locations in China.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, strong problem-solving skills, and a keen interest in automation and process improvement. While the role is entry-level, having internship experience in IT or 1-2 years of experience would be advantageous. Responsibilities For Intelligent Automation Developer

  • Develop new automated solutions, including analysis, specification creation, and coding
  • Conduct testing (functional, unit, regression) for developed applications and integrations
  • Analyze and modify programs to increase operating efficiency
  • Consult with Business and Systems Analysts to identify user needs
  • Evaluate development projects for feasibility

Requirements For Intelligent Automation Developer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems
  • Completed programming coursework
  • Knowledge of Power Platform, LogicApps, Dataverse, and SQL
  • Familiarity with debugging and error-free coding practices
  • Fully proficient English level (written and speaking)
