Software Engineer in Test

Headout is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to join their Platform team. The role involves ensuring quality standards, developing test cases, and automating processes. Key responsibilities include:

• Gaining a thorough understanding of Headout's applications and systems
• Creating comprehensive test cases for frontend and backend components
• Ensuring quality standards by testing and approving new features
• Developing booking automation using Selenium and contributing as a developer
• Participating in resolving production bugs and fulfilling on-call duties

The ideal candidate should have:

• 1-3 years of experience in website, mobile, and backend automation
• Strong skills in building CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Unix commands
• Coding expertise in automated testing frameworks and tools
• Ability to adapt to ambiguous problems and think abstractly
• Solid grounding in computer science and OOP concepts
