Lead Engineer - Gen AI

As a Lead Engineer in our Gen AI team, you'll be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge AI solutions that process over 15 billion API hits daily and manage 470+ terabytes of data across five databases.

The role focuses on four key areas: Conversation AI, Voice AI, Agent Studio, and Knowledge Base. You'll be responsible for building AI Agent systems that enable users to create customized agents for chat and voice interactions, handling everything from appointment booking to sales. You'll work on scaling DIY agent creation, developing conversation insights, and advancing retrieval pipelines.

Working with a global team of 1,500+ members across 15+ countries in a remote-first environment, you'll lead the architecture and implementation of major product features. The platform's impact is significant, powering 1.5 billion messages and generating 200 million leads monthly.

This position requires expertise in architecting AI Agent platforms, strong knowledge of RAG pipelines, and experience with conversational AI systems. You'll need to demonstrate leadership in technical decision-making and have a track record of scaling services to 200K+ MAUs.
