Senior DevOps Engineer

Hitachi Rail is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Revenue Collection Systems (RCS) team in Cairo. This role is part of their Ticketing domain, which designs and delivers smart mobility solutions for international markets, specializing in ticketing, parking, and road solutions. The position offers an opportunity to work on projects ranging from single-line equipment to complex integrated multimodal systems using contactless technologies.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be instrumental in defining and optimizing deployment solutions, managing continuous integration pipelines, and ensuring smooth deployments across pre-production and production environments. You'll work within the RCS engineering department's back-office team, collaborating with international stakeholders and development teams across various Hitachi locations.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in DevOps practices, cloud platforms, and infrastructure management, combined with experience in ticketing solutions. You'll need to demonstrate proficiency in tools like Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and various monitoring and security solutions. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
