Backend Developer
Job Description
IBMC is seeking a Backend Developer to join their remote team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role is crucial for building and maintaining server-side logic and infrastructure that powers their trading applications and services. The ideal candidate will work with C# .NET to develop RESTful APIs, implement SSO and webhook systems, and manage critical trading system processes. With a focus on risk management in trading systems, the role involves collaboration with frontend developers and QA engineers on projects typically lasting 1-1.5 months. The position requires expertise in AWS cloud environment, various databases including DynamoDB and ScyllaDB, and strong problem-solving abilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level developer with at least 3 years of experience to work on sophisticated trading systems while being part of a collaborative team. The role offers the flexibility of remote work while maintaining professional standards and delivering robust, scalable backend solutions.
Responsibilities For Backend Developer
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using C# .NET
- Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) processes and webhook systems
- Develop and maintain scheduler processes for critical tasks in trading systems
- Take ownership of the SSO and webhook systems
- Collaborate with team members on project planning, development, and troubleshooting
- Participate in conceptualization and design of new projects
- Support the QA team with technical insights
- Monitor and maintain backend systems in AWS cloud environment
- Analyze and resolve technical issues
- Participate in code reviews and monitor deployment progress
- Create technical documentation for APIs and non-API systems
- Use Git for version control and Jira for task tracking
Requirements For Backend Developer
- Professional proficiency in English is required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in C# .NET with solid backend development experience
- Familiarity with DynamoDB, ScyllaDB, and ElasticSearch
- Experience working with AWS services
- Experience with Git and Jira
- Strong communication skills
