Description For Lead Assembly, Integration and Testing Engineer - Japan

ICEYE, the global leader in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite operations, is seeking a Lead Assembly, Integration and Testing Engineer for their Japan operations. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering expertise in spacecraft assembly and testing. Based in Finland with extensive travel to Japan, you'll lead a team of AIT engineers while working on cutting-edge satellite technology.

The position offers an opportunity to shape the Earth Observation industry while working with ICEYE's world-leading SAR constellation. You'll be responsible for overseeing the assembly, integration, and testing of spacecraft systems, ensuring all components meet rigorous performance standards. The role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills, as you'll be managing a team while interfacing with various departments.

Responsibilities For Lead Assembly, Integration and Testing Engineer - Japan

  • Lead and mentor AIT engineers and technicians team
  • Manage schedule priorities and execute work deliverables
  • Perform and oversee spacecraft and satellite systems assembly
  • Plan and execute testing procedures
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation
  • Troubleshoot issues during assembly and testing phases
  • Drive continuous improvement in AIT processes
  • Interface with different teams

Requirements For Lead Assembly, Integration and Testing Engineer - Japan

Linux
  • Degree in engineering discipline
  • Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and integration
