Responsibilities For SAR Remote Sensing Engineer
- Design, implement, and maintain workflows to process and analyze SAR data for natural catastrophe applications
- Develop, test, and implement new SAR analytics capabilities from prototype to operational use
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists across teams to solve complex problems
- Assist in validation and testing of new algorithms and processing workflows
- Communicate technical findings and results to team and stakeholders
Requirements For SAR Remote Sensing Engineer
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Remote Sensing, Geoscience, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 1-3+ years of relevant experience in remote sensing or signal processing
- Solid understanding of remote sensing principles and data analysis
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and algorithm development
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub/GitLab
- Commitment to engineering best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with geospatial data formats
- Solid theoretical and practical understanding of SAR principles
