Senior Software Engineer, Kubernetes Cloud Security

Illumio, the leader in ransomware and breach containment, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Kubernetes Cloud Security team in Sunnyvale. This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge Zero Trust Segmentation technology, focusing on container security and orchestration. The position requires working from the Sunnyvale office 5 days a week, offering a competitive salary range of $164K-$189K.

The role involves building innovative solutions for orchestrating Zero Trust Segmentation at the application/pod level within container ecosystems. You'll work with modern container platforms including Kubernetes, Istio, OpenShift, and various cloud providers' Kubernetes services. The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience building distributed systems, strong programming skills in languages like Go, Python, or Java, and deep knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies.
