This role reports to the Senior Tech Operations Manager and is crucial in developing secure solutions by defining and enforcing information security requirements. The position involves mentoring engineering teams on secure-by-design principles, overseeing testing and assurance, managing security risks, and promoting a strong security culture.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of hands-on experience in Information Security Engineering, with expertise in cryptography, security monitoring, incident response, network security, and IAM. They should be proficient in secure coding practices with Java and Python, and have a solid understanding of banking systems and compliance.

Responsibilities For Information Security Engineer
- Lead security integration across the Tribe by translating security requirements into actionable tasks
- Function as the Tribe's Security SME, collaborating with Tribe Leads and Security teams
- Enhance Tech Security efficiency by identifying gaps against global/local standards
- Promote a security-first culture by mentoring teams on IT security practices
- Provide expert security consultancy across all levels of business and IT
Requirements For Information Security Engineer
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Information Security Engineering
- Expertise in cryptography, security monitoring and incident response, network security, and IAM
- Proficient in secure coding practices with Java and Python
- Solid understanding of banking systems, operations, and compliance
- Experience working across multiple agile tribes and distributed teams
- Industry-recognized certifications such as OSCP or equivalent
