The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining Insider's global website, working closely with the Website Development Director and collaborating with design, content, and regional marketing teams. This position requires strong WordPress development skills, proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML/CSS/JS), and a keen eye for detail.
The role combines technical development with collaborative teamwork, offering significant growth potential in a fast-paced environment. You'll be involved in everything from page building and template customization to performance optimization and SEO implementation. The position offers hands-on experience with modern web development practices while working alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities For Junior WordPress Developer
- Build and update web pages using WordPress and Elementor
- Customize themes and templates based on design specs
- Assist with content updates, bug fixes, and layout adjustments
- Support localization efforts using WPML or similar tools
- Write clean and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Follow version control workflows (Git) and contribute to the staging process
- Work closely with design and content teams to translate mockups into functional pages
- Assist in QA testing across browsers, devices, and regions
- Apply SEO-friendly markup and semantic structure when building pages
- Support the SEO team by uploading or updating content and implementing code changes as needed
Requirements For Junior WordPress Developer
- 1–2 years of experience working with WordPress (agency or product environment preferred)
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
- Familiarity with Elementor or other WordPress page builders
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Some experience with Git and working in a team development setup
