Staff Software Engineer

Intuit is a leading global financial technology platform that powers prosperity through innovative products like TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp. As a Staff Software Engineer in the Core Platform Engineering Team, you'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the Kubernetes Platform across Intuit.

You'll be responsible for managing Intuit Kubernetes Services (IKS) clusters that host flagship products including TurboTax, QuickBooks, Mailchimp, and critical platforms like Identity, API Gateway, and Service Mesh. The role encompasses platform development, deployment, service adoption, configuration, optimization and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing highly available systems, utilizing expertise in system engineering and AI, managing AWS EKS services, driving operational excellence, and providing technical leadership. You'll collaborate closely with product teams, handle complex troubleshooting, participate in on-call rotations, and mentor other engineers.

The ideal candidate should have 7+ years of experience in software development and production engineering, strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, and cloud-native patterns, and proficiency in languages like Go, Python, Java, or NodeJS. You'll work with modern tools including Docker, Springboot, React, and various monitoring solutions.
