As a Backend Engineering Intern, you'll be immersed in building solutions that impact millions of consumers and small businesses across our cloud, platform, and SaaS environments. Responsibilities For Summer 2026 Backend Engineering Intern
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications and systems
- Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Participate in debugging and resolving software defects
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver solutions
- Support the deployment and maintenance of software
Requirements For Summer 2026 Backend Engineering Intern
- Experience developing web applications using server-side languages, such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Understanding of RESTful API design principles and ability to work with API integrations
- Experience with server frameworks such as Express, Spring MVC or Django
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design and fundamental programming concepts
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the software development lifecycle
- Strong problem-solving skills and a history of successfully delivering on assigned tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the internship
- Ability to work onsite for a minimum of 3 days per week
