Description For Trading Desk Operations Engineer

We are looking for a Trading Desk Operations Engineer (TDOE) to help us manage the operational side of the trading desk. Our TDOEs are integral to the firm's success, building and maintaining desk infrastructure that is responsible for trading thousands of financial products across 200 trading venues around the world.

In this role, you'll:

  • Monitor trading tools
  • Manage and update complex spreadsheets
  • Optimize existing processes
  • Develop new tools for the desk
  • Interact with various internal groups and external parties
  • Learn the flow of the trading and settlement cycle
  • Understand regulatory and operational considerations

As you gain experience, you'll:

  • Dedicate more time to programming
  • Assist traders more directly
  • Build out the firm's infrastructure
  • Handle immediate, time-sensitive tasks
  • Work on longer-term strategic projects
