Responsibilities For Senior Software Development Engineer (Backend) - Adtech
- Design and build scalable, resilient microservices that power JioStar's ad tech stack
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex backend projects, from technical design to deployment and monitoring
- Write high-quality, maintainable code, and ensure rigorous testing and fault tolerance
- Drive architectural decisions and influence long-term engineering strategy for the team
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and cross-functional teams
- Take ownership of operational excellence, including performance tuning, incident response, and root cause analysis
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct technical deep dives and code reviews
Requirements For Senior Software Development Engineer (Backend) - Adtech
- Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python
- Experience designing and building distributed systems at scale
- Strong understanding of storage systems, query performance, and caching strategies
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), messaging systems (Kafka), and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage delivery timelines
- Bachelors/master's in computer science or related field
